*** TEN FINANCIAL OPTIONS***
Often times, parents find that the most challenging part of getting the needed help for their child is finding the financial resources to do so. We have searched for the best possible options available to assist you in creating a financial plan. Listed below are some options to get you started.
1) STUDENT LOANS: This is our most popular option. We work with Sallie Mae and Key Bank which offer low-interest education loans, with interest rates starting at 6.0%, and monthly payments as low as $275./month. As an additional incentive, if you obtain a loan for the 3 mo. or 12 mo. enrollment, this is considered "pre-paying" and you will receive a $200.-300./mo. discount off monthly tuition costs.

2)Email it to:

2) - CREDIT CARDS: Many families will pay monthly tuition on a credit card that offer REWARDS, AIR MILES, or CASH BACK benefits. This can add up fast. To pay with a credit card you may fill out the form below and fax it to 435-574-0676
http://ssl.teenlifelines.com/dl/f/credit_card_form.doc
3) - MONTHLY BILLING: The programs we represent do not require that you pre-pay a semester or a year. You may opt for a monthly statement and pay as you go.
4) PRE-PAY DISCOUNTS: Most Programs offer a $200-300/month discount for pre-paying either 3 mo. or 12 mo. tuition fees. (this also applies to obtaining Education
Loans that fund and pre-pay the tuition)
5) - PRIVATE FINANCING - Home Equity Lines of Credit are low interest and typically quite fast to get. See your personal banker or go online for options. Personal Loans and Second Mortgages are another resource to consider
6) - COLLEGE FUNDS: Often a student coming to a program may be on their way to throwing away their education completely. They may never make through High School, let alone college if an intervention doesn't take place, "now". Many parents have tapped into their child's college fund to help get them back on track. Then, they can pay their own way through college or earn scholarships due to their Honor Roll Status while in the Specialty School.
7)- SUGGESTED FUNDS PLAN - SCHOOL IEP FUNDING: The C.S.Landre "Star of Life" Foundation was set up to help families raise monies in numerous ways.
1) Businesses, family members, or friends can donate towards your child's tuition and receive a 100% tax deduction. Yes, 100%!
2) School IEP's may also offer funding towards the program. The Landre' has a team of educational experts to help you with this.
Please contact the "Star of Life" Foundation directly to discuss options or to request a free packet:

8) - FUNDRAISERS - The C.S. Landre Foundation has fundraiser ideas to help you raise funds to support your child's tuition while in the program. One mother recently raised $28,000. in a 3-week period after sending out only 200 letters in her community!
9) - INSURANCE & TAX BENEFITS: Some health insurance policies will cover part of the tuition costs. One school we know of, will bill up to $930/mo. depending on your coverage. We recommend that you contact your health insurance provider to see if they will cover behavior modification programs. (These are not JHCO hospital-type programs)
**For the programs where therapy is NOT included in the cost of tuition, but therapeutic services are available, the therapy costs can be billed to insurance but it is not a guarantee that your insurance company will pay.)
TAXES: Many parents have found the tuition for these types of schools to be TAX-DEDUCTABLE - please contact your tax accountant for more details.
10) - REFERRAL PROGRAM - We always welcome referrals as you come across others that need help. We offer tuition credits for referrals, providing that you direct them to your original admissions coordinator. Ask your coordinator for more information on this option.
****************************************************
Remember, these programs may save your child's education, their health, their future, and even their life -- It is an investment in your child's excellence and personal growth. Ask yourself: What could be the short and long-term costs if I don't act now?
Please let me know which of the above options will work the best for you. I am standing by ready to assist you.
Sincerely,
Jane Hawley
